Paterson Demolition & Recycling Pty Ltd is committed to ensuring the safety of all employees and others who may be affected by their operations in accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995 and Workplace Health and Safety Regulation 2008. This commitment is supported by a culture that ensures that safety is an absolute priority as well as a condition of employment.
To achieve this policy Paterson Demolition & Recycling Pty Ltd will actively engage in work practices that meet legislated requirements as a minimum and only assign site supervisory personnel with the necessary qualifications, experience and dedication to uphold this policy, therefore best ensuring compliance with this company objective.
Each worker engaged on the project by Paterson Demolition & Recycling Pty Ltd or a subsequent subcontractor will be instructed in relation to an expected and acceptable standard of compliance i.e. site safety rules as a minumum and adherence to Demoltion Work Plan and Work Method Statements.
Paterson Demolition liases closely with external consultants who continually monitor and review complance with industry health and safety requirements, and enhance the company’s internal risk management strategies.
Paterson Demolition & Recycling Pty Ltd will implement and maintain a Safety Management program to achieve their company objective and the objectives of AS/ANZ 4801:2001 as well as endorse any WH&S management procedures as set by he Client to conribute to its objective of an injury free workplace.
